Ashlyn Hulsey, PhD, EdM, CMPC is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and Certified Mental Performance Consultant with a Ph.D. in Sport Psychology from Florida State University. She works with individuals, athletes, performers, and high achievers navigating anxiety, confidence, burnout, life transitions, emotional regulation, and performance pressure both in and outside of sport.
Alongside her therapy work, Dr. Hulsey serves as a Mental Performance Consultant in Division I athletics, supporting athletes and teams through individual sessions, workshops, and collaboration with performance staff. Her approach integrates evidence-based therapy and mental performance strategies to help clients build resilience, self-awareness, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
Dr. Hulsey's therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized, drawing from CBT, ACT, feminist/systemic, and psychodynamic approaches. Her professional interests include emotions, identity development, group dynamics, wellbeing, and the intersection of mental health and performance.
Individual sessions — therapy, mental performance, or both — are $110 (50 min). Couples sessions are $130 (50 min) or $150 (75 min). Team sessions are arranged as agreed. We do not accept insurance.
